To start with I was a bit worried that you would not deliver my car, but in the end you did, so that was good. You promised to deliver it on 22nd which you did. The young man was very helpful and polite. The transition was easy, and car tax was done very quickly. I love this car, and very pleased with it.
The experience with the Jamie inside carsa was great. It was an easy experience buying the car and getting any help. Jamie was lovely. But, the car had things wrong with it that wasn’t stated on the description. The car was meant to be valeted but when I got the car it was full of crumbs, receipts and wrappers.
A bit of a long one, bear with it. I phoned Carsa and the young lady was very helpful and arranged finance for me, offering me one rate, but then I got offered slightly higher one in the end (Most companies do the same, bait and switch), We arrange a test drive on a set date at a set time. We arrived about 15 minutes early and was greeted straight away and was shown to a table with offers of tea and coffee (very nice) and was told a salesperson would be with us shortly (it goes slightly downhill here) We waited about 45-50 minutes before the salesperson came over (if we knew that this was the waiting time we would have come in slightly later). He was quite nice and polite and got us on the test drive quiet quickly. We took the car out and decided to purchase it. We arrived back at the showroom and was told to sit back at the same table and the salesman would be with us shortly. Another 30–40 minute wait and he finally arrives. He then spends about 30 minutes trying to persuade as to take the extras (Ceramic coating, wheel protection, etc), which we politely declined, but we did take the leaflets with us. We then waited for the paperwork to be emailed over so it could be signed. After waiting for another 45-60 minutes, the manager came over and pointed out that the someone had entered my email address wrong on the finance application and said it will take over an hour to sort out. At this point we said we would be back tomorrow to collect the car. About 2 hours later the documents were emailed to me. I filled them out and received a phone call from the salesman letting me know that they have received payment and when I would be back to pick up the car, we reminded him that we will pick it up tomorrow. We arrived the next day after work to collect the car and had to wait another hour before it was all sorted out (don't know why as i thought we had done everything the day before). At this point I booked a time to have the Ceramic Coating applied to the car, (mistake) I returned a couple of day later to have the Ceramic coating done and was once again greeted very fast and politely. I then informed them the reason for my visit and was shown to a table. The salesperson came over very quickly and took my key away and arranged the coating to be done. 40 minutes later they tell me its done (do your research, ceramic coating shouldn’t be this quick) I checked over the vehicle and noticed a couple of scratched on the bonnet. I called the salesperson over and was told that they must have already been on the car before they applied the coating as you can’t feel them, (they weren’t) I then pointed out a couple of other marks and was told the same thing. At this point I had to get back to work and didn't have time to argue. Guess i will save up and take it somewhere else to get it done properly. In short would I recommend Carsa to buy your next car? If you don’t mind the wait and lots of tea and coffee, then yes. It was reasonably painless. Would I recommend their Ceramic Coating? Nope, never, do your research and go with a professional detailer. Might cost you a bit more but it would be far better for you and your car.
The customer service has been awful. I simply want to follow up on a refund for documentation the branch manager promised me (in writing) and confirm an extension of the 90 day warranty due to being unable to tax and drive the car due to the lack of documentation. There is no ability to phone a branch. I have spent 6 hours on hold over 3 phone calls to a central line only to be told someone would call me back (and the same on WhatsApp), a few weeks later no one has. I have submitted 2 complaints directly to the company and heard nothing back from those either.
