Graham Harrison is one of the best people I've dealt with when buying a car. From his approach to sales (genuinely the only person who spoke to me and my wife equally- some seem to be stuck in the 1970's) to the after sales service he has gone above and beyond. When I had an issue with the car in the first three months, Graeme authorised the part to be replaced free of charge even though it wasn't covered by the car's warranty. When further investigations on an issue with the car came to a difficult place as the tech and service department were saying they didn't find any fault. Graham was the kind of person who took it into his own hands and drove my car and could hear clearly there was something going on which then helped identify what it was and get it solved really easily. Some people clearly take accountability while others try and do the least they can and Graham's definitely very much someone who does the former. Also a mention for Mark Nish who was our product manager. Mark again is the kind of person who will always try and help you and go the extra mile too.
Buying a car through Arnold Clark Liverpool was easy and stress-free. Online apps worked well during purchase process and the staff I encountered were both friendly and knowledgeable. I am always wary about taking out car finance but, in this instance, the highly competitive offer and flexible terms won the day. Communication throughout the process was fine and vehicle pick-up was a very smooth process.
Very disappointed with Arnold Clarke in Perth. I have a problem with the parking assist not working on my Citroen Relay van. Another garage checked the wiring etc and suggested that AC would be able to help. Unfortunately they did not. I have a camper van and it was clear they didn't want to help with the problem that I was having. They suggested that there may be a fault with the control module, but we already knew that. They said they couldn't access it, and I asked where it was so I could return with the panel or whatever removed. However, they wouldn't tell me or come to the vehicle with me to show me what I might do to make things easier. The only solution they were willing to offer was for me to strip the van completely before they would proceed any further. They said about the need to check wiring - but that had already already been done by another garage - and to see about any modifications we've made - but there are none and the system has been working perfectly fine for several years. There was absolutely no meeting half way, which was devastating after having driven for 2.5 hours to get to them, and then for 2.5 hours to return home. Part of me thinks their response clearly ridiculous and I was hoping for a more measured and/or helpful way forward. The impression that I got was that they really didn't want my business. Hence why they were offering the nuclear option or nothing at all. I chose a reputable company after having found out as much as I could from other garages, but came away so so disappointed. I'm afraid I can't recommend them.
Had a brilliant experience buying my car from Arnold Clark. A huge shoutout to Frank and Callum, who handled the sale—they made the whole process incredibly easy, straightforward, and completely stress-free from start to finish. There was no pressure at all, just great customer service. I will definitely be going back to them for my next car and highly recommend this branch!
Excellent company with professional consultant that would vividly explain everything you should be aware of, and answer all questions to your satisfaction. They're vehicles are are heart touching. I will definitely recommend them for all sundry for better vehicles, better services, better payment plans and sparkling vehicles. Also with the concern they have for their customers after purchasing, always in touch.
I bought my car from the Arnold Clarke dealership in Salford. I also paid for the 3 year servicing package and went for repairs after tyresonthedrive messed up the tracking. Today, I find out I have to replace the front tyres after 18 months because the tracking and balancing was off. I went back on the day I picked up my car and said it still felt off. They sent me packing with no concerns and made me feel foolish at the time. So, thanks a million for that!
