I rented from Heathrow airport, really good service, friendly staff and pricing is good compared to the usual car rentals. I rented 2 days before from Sixt which was a real bad experience and increased pricing. So I recommend to anyone to use Arnold Clark instead, since you receive a good vehicle, no hidden costs and daily rate which is much better than the others.
Sandy and the team made this experience so easy, enjoyable and coherent. They were helpful, transparent and supportive. Answered all my questions, were patient and provided all the necessary information to come to an informed decision not only about the car but the best deal and financing.
Unfortunately my experience of Arnold Clark Chertsey has been nothing short of dissapointing. Buying a car is quite stressful and after a very trying few years I finally got around to buying a replacement for my much loved Chrysler . My first encounter at the Chertsey Branch was pleasant, a nice salesman called Amir helped me with my preferred car. However after arranging to go back and buy the car, Amir was sadly off sick. I was met by the very unhelpful Sokrat Noti who had a very lackadaisical attitude and then I was passed over to a trainee who was equally sloppy and lacking in experience and knowledge, luckily another salesperson called Muhammad stepped in and things improved. Sadly the lack of prior information I received meant I was sat about waiting for my transfer to clear, now if they had been able to suggest that I transferred the money the day before that would have been helpful. In the end I had to leave the car and go to a meeting. Two days later, after promising delivery the next day they delivered the car. I believe proper training in customer service is essential and not just prior to purchase. Cars are expensive and we, the customer expect to be treated in a respectful and appropriate manner. All in all, I wish I could say I am excited to have my new car but Arnold Clark managed to take the shine of it!!!
