Seat builds a range of cars that combine a sporty look and feel with comparatively low ownership costs. The Spanish company is best known for the Ibiza and Leon hatchbacks, but the Arona and Ateca are two of the most popular SUVs on the market.

The Mii Electric is the only used Seat available in pure-electric form. It offers a range of up to 116 miles when fully charged, according to official figures.

For a plug-in hybrid check out the Leon e-Hybrid, which can give 235mpg and has a zero-emissions range of up to 40 miles, according to official figures. The Leon is also available as a full hybrid, badged e-TSI.

Seat Ibiza

Seat Arona 

The Seat Arona is one of the best used compact SUVs you can buy, especially since an update in 2021. As well as being enjoyable to drive, the Arona gives you lots of interior space and lots of equipment is included as standard.

Seat Ateca 

The Seat Ateca is a mid-size family SUV that combines practicality and style with a sporty edge. Most have front-wheel drive, but four-wheel drive versions are available, along with a choice of petrol or diesel engines. Seat Tarraco

The Arona is a compact SUV based on the Ibiza hatchback that’s a rival for cars such as the Ford Puma, Renault Captur and Peugeot 2008. Moving up a size, the Ateca is ideal for growing families, thanks to three large seats in the back and a big boot. Rivals include the Nissan Qashqai, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.

The largest Seat SUV is the Tarraco, which is significantly more spacious than the Ateca, with the bonus of a pair of third-row seats. Rivals include the Skoda Kodiaq, Kia Sorento and Peugeot 5008.
