The Mercedes-Benz EQB was released in 2022 as an electric alternative to the Mercedes-Benz GLB. Since then, there haven’t been any more generations. However, the Mercedes-Benz EQB is available in a variety of models: the EQB 300 4MATIC and the EQB 350 4MATIC.
The primary difference between the Mercedes EQB 350 and EQB 300 is in their power output, with the EQB 300 boasting 225hp, while the EQB 350 exceeds this with 288hp. Acceleration sets them apart too. Although both models have a maximum speed of 99mph, the EQB 300 takes 8 seconds to reach 0-60mph, whereas the EQB 350 achieves this feat in just 6.2 seconds. Additionally, there's a marginal difference in range. The EQB 300 covers 248 miles, and the EQB 350 extends it slightly to 256 miles. However, real-world usage might bring this below 200 miles.
The EQB 300 has a range of 248 miles, while the EQB 350 is slightly higher at 256 miles. In real-world scenarios, the range may dip below 200 miles.
The time it takes to charge a Mercedes EQB 300 depends on the charging infrastructure available. Utilising a fast-charging station or a Mercedes-Benz Wallbox significantly speeds up the process compared to a standard household socket. The EQB 300 can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 35 minutes, providing that a DC fast charging station with a supply voltage of 400V and a minimum current of 500A is used.
Whether at home or public charging stations, the EQB conveniently charges at up to 11kW with alternating current (AC) using the onboard charger.
