We believe supplied new by Woking Motors of Walton On Thames on the 4th of August 1987 Monty is a fantastic example covering a mere 43,374 miles from new and only 4 owners. It also has over 25 old MOTs to back all regarding information up, not something many of these cars will have. Personally I also think this is finished in the best colour scheme. The Diamond blue metallic presents glossy and correct but with age related marks to display how honest and straight this example is. The blue cloth interior also shows very little wear with the original Merc over mats still being present and the dash top uncracked however a few hard plastic trims are just starting to get brittle here and there. The first aid kit still remains in the parcel shelf as does the warning triangle and tool kit in the boot. Another nice feature is the original dealer key rings and Mercedes touch up pencil still remaining in the car. The 2.0 Auto is smooth, comfy and refined making the Merc feel like a relatively new motor car. The power steering is light and the electric sunroof is ideal for sunny classic car motoring. Really this is a "see you out" car, with the mileage, condition and notorious reliability of these 190Es Ive no doubt this car will last another 100 years should petrol remain available. Soon to also be MOT and tax exempt this will also present a nice saving in the coming year.
