Here we have a very smart and highly desirable 1972 MG Midget 1275 Round Wheel Arch finished in a striking shade of teal blue, a colour that perfectly complements the timeless sporting lines of this iconic British roadster. The chrome bumper RWA models are widely regarded as the most sought after versions thanks to their improved stance, wider rear track and more purposeful appearance, making them an excellent choice for both enthusiastic driving and relaxed summer touring.Powered by the lively and proven 1275cc A Series engine and paired to a manual gearbox, this MG Midget delivers the engaging lightweight driving experience that has made these cars so popular with enthusiasts. Benefiting from the fitment of a sports exhaust system, the car offers an enhanced period style soundtrack that further adds to the sense of occasion behind the wheel while maintaining the character expected from a classic MG.The exterior presents attractively with bright chrome details, correct period styling and black finished sporting wheels which sit well against the teal blue paintwork. As expected with a vehicle of this age there are some light age related markings consistent with sympathetic use, however these do little to detract from the overall strong visual appeal and charm of the car.Inside, the cabin is finished in black trim and provides a clean and driver focused environment. Supportive bucket style seats with headrests, matching door cards and black carpets create a smart cockpit space, complemented by a wood rim sports steering wheel which adds a traditional motorsport feel. The simple dashboard layout with clear instrumentation ensures an authentic connection between driver and road, while the hood frame and tonneau arrangement allow for enjoyable open top motoring when conditions allow. The MG Midget remains one of the most accessible and rewarding entries into classic sports car ownership, supported by strong club backing, excellent parts availability and manageable running costs. This example represents a great opportunity to acquire a well presented and characterful British roadster.Supplied by Classicwise at the asking price with a comprehensive pre sale health check, service and a full 12 months MOT for additional peace of mind. Why not book a viewing. The Classicwise Collection is a company formed by Sam Fretwell after he became unable to continue in his employment as a result of injuries sustained as the innocent party in a near fatal road accident in May 2012. Sam has grown up around classic cars and knows all about them as his father used to import rust-free European sports cars from California USA and also built up a successful Porsche 911 sales and service business in the 1990’s. Since leaving school in 2007 Sam worked for the family business Weonlymot.co.uk, initially on reception at the various branches, but then became one of the youngest people ever to become an authorised MOT tester, and then by the end of 2011 was promoted to Branch Development Manager. He had identified, equipped and just opened his first new weonlymot.co.uk branch in Grimsby and was on his way back from there to the Ollerton head office when he involved in the horrific accident. Calling upon his father’s experience in addition to that already amassed himself, Sam’s intention is to establish himself and his company in the classic car business offering initially classic car service and repair, alongside vehicle sales & brokerage. He hopes to be able to offer classic car storage and enclosed transportation as the business develops at Bypass Garage Epperstone. The Classicwise Collection are always interested in any classic vehicle from the early 1900’s to the 1990’s. The images to the right were taken in December 1997 the little chap is Sam.
