This 2008 BMW M6 Convertible is finished in BMW Individual paint code 490 Sonderlackierung (Special Order Paint), presented here in an exceptionally rare dark metallic green. According to the importer, just 7 cars worldwide are believed to have been finished in this colour, with only 3 examples in the UK, making this an incredibly unique example of the legendary V10powered M6. Under the bonnet sits the iconic 5.0litre V10 (S85) engine producing 500bhp a naturally aspirated masterpiece derived from BMW's Formula 1 programme of the era. The sound and character are simply unforgettable and represent one of the greatest modern M engines ever produced. Originally supplied to the Japanese market in 2008, the car was imported to the UK in September 2025 and has had just one UK owner since arrival. Cars originally supplied to the Japanese domestic market are widely regarded as some of the bestpreserved examples available anywhere in the world. One of the main reasons is Japan's much drier climate and road conditions, which typically means these vehicles have little to no corrosion compared with many UKsupplied cars of the same age. Inside, the car is fully trimmed in extended leather, all of which is in excellent, beautifully preserved condition, reflecting the level of care this car has clearly received throughout its life. Despite being a Japanesemarket car, usability in the UK is excellent. The main speedometer displays KM, while the HeadUp Display reads in MPH, which in practice is actually far more convenient for UK driving. We personally drove the car over 300 miles to collect it, and it performed flawlessly no knocks, no bangs, just smooth V10 performance and a truly enjoyable drive. It's immediately clear this car has been exceptionally well looked after.
