The Nissan Juke is one of the most divisive cars on the road thanks to its outlandish styling, but underneath the metalwork is a sensible small SUV thats affordable and well equipped. Though for funky looks, the Juke is still king. The sweptback LED strips above massive, round headlights, low roofline and mass of creases along its doors and wheel arches come together in what is one of the most outthere cars on sale. We still cant tell if its handsome, but the Juke is certainly attention grabbing. The cabin isnt as zany as the exterior, with wraparound door cards enveloping the dashboard and a widescreen infotainment display offset above the air vents. Material quality is good, with an Alcantara strip behind the touchscreen elevating things slightly. With most Nissan Jukes set for a lifetime of running around town, its no surprise to learn this is where its best suited. A highset driving position means youve got a good view of the road ahead, and suitably light steering makes it a breeze to park. With 422 litres to work with in the boot, the Nissan Juke is pretty much par for the course in its class. For context, a VW TCross takes the cake with 455 litres, while the Renault Captur matches the Juke. A Skoda Kamiq offers less than all of these at 400 litres. You need the load floor in its higher position if you want it to be level with the 6040 splitandfold rear seats when they are tipped forward. With this done, the Juke has up to 1,305 litres of load capacity, which is among the best among its peers. All versions of the Juke are equipped with a 12.3inch touchscreen infotainment system. This is a big improvement on the setup previously fitted to the Juke it's clear, bright and responsive, though certain aspects of the interface are easy to use.
