Insurance Group 8, Partial Service History, 2014,RENAULT CLIO ,1.2 16v petrol,74 bhp,Top of the range Dynamique model,111,290 miles,4 owners, New 12m MOT 23/03/2027 with NO advisories......HPI Cat S.....Amazing condition car...***** Just arrived back from the mot station late this afternoon, so 40 plus photos and a walk round video of this lovely car to follow tomorrow after the wash and polish, so please add to your list ***XX photos to view of this car on our motors co uk listing ....3 min you tube walk round of this car on our ebay advert, soalmoto co uk web site.....Anyone looking for a frugal family car ?Maybe a first time driver car ?Something that does 62 mpg for fun , apparently,Maybe something virtually unmarked and like its factory fresh?Loved by its last owners?Cheap as chips to service and own ?That actually drives as well as it looks ?If so, have a read of this lovely RENAULT CLIO....Another main dealer px, this one collected this morning, near Peterborough, where we seem to get quite a few "" nicely presented , low mileage cars""...So not the longest journey , 54 miles to be fair, in just over an hour, yet still more than you're likely to do on your test drive....Driven back by myself, with a nice grin on my face.Just look at this car, its looks like its doing 60mph just standing still, what a smart looking car.Not only that the car is SO clean, just look at it.....No knocks or bangs,No warning light, well apart from the due a service light, now done, and quite a comfy car to do 54 miles....**** So let's address the elephant in the room......The car is an insurance category S.From the look of it, as an ex car painter, im going with the rear bumper, its got a small crack in the bumper and diffuser, and as it's an S, probably needed a new rear bumper bar.The car is straight in the boot, so probably a light tap at the back, but enough for a category.What that means is a 3250 pound car is now 2500, so cheaper to buy, and looks a whole lot of car on your driveway, for less money****** MECHANICALS:Always a heart in mouth moment , when you collect a car you know nothing about.However the lovely 1.2 petrol engine does sound well.I cant stress how quiet this car is to drive , even on idle.Gearbox changes well, with no issues.No noises from the suspension either, which is good.And the car drives as Renault intended... EXTERIOR:The car is finished in "the colour to have" Glacier white paintwork.AND WOW does look well in the sunshine today.Im hard pressed to find any marks on the car.I know its an insurance category, but its a really good job..Probably one of the best colours ever, but it's been well and truly looked after . I can't stress enough how clean this car was on collection.Maybe a few light scratches , or marks you'd expect on a car thats 12 years old.A crack in the rear bumper, But no massive dents or even stone chips on the bonnet.A really presentable car for its age.All the alloys look in good condition, and from 5 ft looks a really nice car.... INTERIOR:The car has the usual Renault hard wearing black cloth seats.Slightly higher bolsters add to the sporty feel.All seats look immaculate, with only minimal marks that a full shampoo has sorted in minutes.All switches seem to work,Aftermarket blue edged mats , and door pocket covers, are in the bootThe carpets all unmarked, plastics all wiped, and the car only took 15 min to hoover, such was the clean standard of the car, which is a nice change .... FEATURES: Sat Nav, DAB, Climate, Bluetooth, Cruise control, Alloys, Front driving lamps, Electric mirrors, Electric front and rear windows , Front driving lamps, Keyless entry and locking, Auto lights, Auto wipers, Remote central locking..... THE CAR HAS: Full V5, shows 4 owners, MOT 23/03/2027 with NO advisories, 2 remote keys..... SERVICE HISTORY:The book pack is missing, as usual with a category car, so NO history with the car .We have just put the car through an mot, and fixed ALL the advisories, wheels, arms, cv joints, and had the car serviced as well, at a cost of nearly 500 pounds , ouch ! RUNNING COSTS:The car costs165 pounds for 12m tax,The car does 60mpg on a run, or 40 around town,Insurance is group a low group 8....
