MECHANICALS:The car is fitted with the been in everything 1.8 chain driven petrol engine .Mated to a incredible and seamless automatic gearbox .The car drives so well, Yes its 19 years old, BUT ONLY 110k miles from new, thats less than 5800 miles per year, bonkers .The only issue I found was the hand brake "pull" is loose and not working, not usual an issue for me as I always park with the car in "P" but off to the mechanic next week to be sorted.And thats it, it starts, stops, pulls and brakes as it should, NO funny noises, suspension works well too..... EXTERIOR:The car is finished in a deep metallic pearl black colour, that looks really well for its age.Obviously there are the odd few marks here and there, a very minor scuff on the front passenger side bumper, but black touch up seems to have hidden it well.The car has obviously been well loved, as it does shine well.The alloys are all in fairly good condition, with good 5mm tyres all round..... INTERIOR:Mercedes do make a good interior.The build quality is always there. This example is in really good condition for its age.It has 1/2 black leather, and 1/2 cloth chequered trim.ONLY the drivers seat bolster shows a very small bit of use on the usual bolster.The rest is almost factory fresh.Original factory Mercedes mats are also still present in the car.A quick hoover and a wipe and dress of the plastics was alll that was needed.Again a good sign of a well loved car....
