Iver2 Previous Owners, This Lot will be sold at auction at Symphony of Spring; Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 7th March. Cambelt service in 2024Sticky switches and hood mechanism refurbishedExcellent service historyThe Ferrari F355 was first presented to the motoring press in May 1994 with two models available: the coupe Berlinetta and the Targa top GTS. The Spider became available in 1995 whilst in 1997 the Formula 1style paddle gear shift was introduced which added a further £6,000 to the dealer list price. Apart from the displacement increase from 3.4 to 3.5 litres, the major difference between the V8 engine in the 348 and F355 is the introduction of a fivevalve cylinder head. This new head design allowed for better intake permeability and resulted in an engine that was considerably more powerful, in fact the F355s best time around Ferraris Fiorano test track was three seconds faster than the formidable Ferrari 512TR. The F355 was the last in the series of midengined Ferraris with the Flying Buttress rear window, a lineage going back to the 1965 Dino 206 GT. Total production of 11,273 cars, of which 3,843 spiders were built, making the F355 the mostproduced Ferrari at the time.Fresh from a service and supplied with a new MoT test certificate, this beautiful F355 Spider is ready to be enjoyed. The car is handsome in its rare Argento Nurburgring paintwork with contrasting Blu Scuro Mohair soft top and interior. Being one of the last F355s produced the car boasts a power roof, electric seats, twin airbags, climate control, Argento silver painted brake calipers and its original Ferrari Becker radio. As well as having just been serviced, the car has also had the sticky switches refurbished and the power roof system overhauled. Having covered less than 100 miles since its cambelt service in 2024, the car has always been maintained by leading Ferrari specialists such as Bob Houghton and main dealer agents Dick Lovett. Supplied with a V5C registration document, owners manuals, service booklet with 16 service stamps, service history, toolkit, tyre inflator and tonneau cover. A truly fantastic example of this appreciating classic which is ready for its next owner to enjoy. Consigned by Will Penrose
