Restored exampleDeceased estateThe 1937 MG SA was a refined British saloon that blended sporting pedigree with luxury. Powered by a 2.3 litre inlinesix, it delivered smooth performance and confident touring ability. Its long bonnet, flowing wings, and upright grille created a dignified presence, while a wellappointed cabin emphasised comfort. Built on a sturdy ladder frame with coachbuilt bodies, the SA marked MGs move upmarket, offering elegance, craftsmanship, and grandtouring charm in prewar motoring. Collectors prize its rarity, balanced handling, and period sophistication today. This delightful 1937 MG SA presents well in twotone green coachwork which is complemented by a beige leather interior trim and green carpet. The coachwork, trim, carpeting and wooden dashboard all appear to be in extremely good condition. This beautiful MG SA has benefitted in recent years from what appears to be a no expense spared restoration and overhaul. On a recent test the car performed extremely well and we are informed is fun to drive. This must be one of the best examples of the model available in todays market. The MG SA 'sporting saloon' was introduced by MG to compete with SS cars (later Jaguar) and even Bentley. A total of only 2,739 examples of this exclusive MG were built between 1936 and 1939. This rare MG comes with various bills and receipts. Given the condition and extremely realistic estimate, this MG SA is a fantastic find for any collector or enthusiast. Consigned by Dominic Lake
