Issued with registration number 5 BOF on 23rd September 1959 and still retaining the number, this example has spent the majority of its life in Surrey. One of only 562 units manufactured by MercedesBenz in right hand drive guise throughout the eightyear production run, this 190 SL presents exceedingly well. The vendor has just spent circa £12,000 on this MercedesBenz, including new carburettors, fuel pump and a thorough engine tune. Shod with a good set of whitewall tyres which help accentuate the shiny Fire Engine Red paintwork. The glovebox has an inset clock and the dashboard carries a Becker Mexico radio which is thought to be original to the car.
