MECHANICALS:The car has the brilliant 2.0 TDI VAG engine, this one has the 140 horses , so better due economy than the 170.It did still feel quite lively coming out of Peterborough.Always a nervous few minutes in a car you know nothing about, and getting straight on the dual carriageway .But all was ok and the car drove really well on the way back.Gets upto temperature and stays there, even in the static 15 minutes I spent in Bourne, due to a broken down Toyota, so NO overheating issues...Clutch feels good, changes well, and no funny knocking noises from the dual mass fly wheel,Same with the suspension, all seemed quiet when crossing the railway lines on the way back, with NO knocks or bangs,So all in all, a nice driving, quiet Leon , just as it should be....... EXTERIOR:The car is finished in a stunning metallic and deep pearl grey , called " track grey" by Seat....The car does seem to have been looked after by its previous owners, Not that much in the way of damage, so ill be brief.....The front passenger door has a slight mark in it, but not enough to have broken the paint, and you have to look to see it,I completely missed them one first appraisal .Front valance has a small scuff really low down and touched in.There's the odd fine scratch , a full machine polish will see most of them disappear, but a few still lurk, just managing expectations on a 15 year old car.Even the alloys are on good condition, with only the odd bit of kerb damage to the edge of the rims.The car has had a good machine polish, and does look well, please see all the photos.... INTERIOR:The car has the usual hard wearing Seat charcoal grey hard wearing seats.Sporty looking, with good bolsters, and red sports stitching.Surprisingly comfy on the way back, and over 60 miles is a long way in a car with hard seats, so these made the journey quite nice.There isn't really any wear on the seats, the usual shampoo will sort any marks, Bolsters as you'd expect has seen a bit of action, but all still intact, The rest are all in really good condition, and still supportive.All buttons seem to work as they should, Original FR logo dealer fit grey mats are still present in the car and look good..... FEATURES: Dual Zone climate, Aircon, Auto lights, Auto wipers, Aftermarket Kenwood DAB stereo , with usb jack in the glove box, Remote central locking, Electric windows, Electric mirrors, Alloys, Front driving lamps Daylight running lamps, Rear parking sensors ..... THE CAR HAS: Full V5, 1 remote keys, MOT, Full Book pack...... SERVICE HISTORY:The service book is missing.there are only 2 Invoices for work done 2024 and 2025.And so at great expense and to sort the go to question we have just had the Cambelt and water pump done, Invoice is present.So good for approximately another 75k miles or 5 years ........ RUNNING COSTS :The car costs just 165 pounds for a whole year,or 90.75 for 6 months taxIt does 69mpg on a run, or 46mpg around town,I got just over 55mpg on the run back todayInsurance group 26.... TYRES:The car has good tyres all round, all mid budget tyres,All tyres are around the 5mm mark,There is a space saver spare in the boot, Tools, jack are located in the boot, Locking wheel nut is in the centre console.....
