I have been particularly impressed by how clean and well presented this cars interior is. Certainly the cars shows very little evidence of any wear and it drives as well as it looks. The Touran has a well thought out interior with and upright driving position which affords you a great view of the road. Flexible seating allows you to stow both rows of rear seats seamlessly into the floor in just a coupe of seconds. I find the design and folding action of the rear seats in this car to be a highly userfriendly design which is light, and much easier to use than rival MPV's. There is a plenty of room for all occupants, and with the rear seats folded a huge boot for all their luggage. The Touran has Isofix points for child seats and there are huge door bins and storage areas in the roof space to maximise space and practicality. Out on the road, the Touran performs very much like the Golf, on which it is based. The handling is sharp, with very little body roll and comfort is among the best in its class. The steering is superb with variable weight power assistance means the steering is light at low speeds, but firms up once your on the move. This ensures that despite its size, the Touran is an easy car to drive. Strong ABS brakes and ESP stability control ensure the Touran is safe and controllable, even on slippery road surfaces. Overall, this is an easy car to drive and a comfortable long distance cruiser thanks to the tall 6th gear and factory fitted cruise control which makes it allthemore enjoyable on the motorway. Then sitting inside this car it is almost impossible not to be impressed by its stunning condition and high quality feel.
