Ashorne2 Previous Owners, This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at Race Retro 2026 Collectors' Cars on Saturday the 21st of February, Stoneleigh Park, Stoneleigh Rd, Coventry, CV8 2LG. , The Audi Allroad has long been celebrated as one of the most accomplished and versatile luxury estates, combining allwheel drive capability with refined ride quality, practicality, and comfort. Introduced to offer the poise of an Audi A6 with the added composure and versatility of a rugged estate, the Allroad has developed a niche, yet loyal following for its ability to look composed and understated in all situations. Much like the late HM Queen Elizabeth II and her love of L322 Range Rovers, the A6 Allroad has been the favoured car of HM King Charles III. As with all Royal cars, theres always more than meets the eye, with options added that were exclusive to vehicles supplied to the Royal Household. This 2015 Allroad is a particularly significant example, having been owned by His Majesty King Charles III from 1st January 2015 until 12th October 2016, after which it passed into the care of a single longterm custodian, who maintained the car meticulously for the last nine years before passing it on to our vendor. The car was formally decommissioned upon completing its royal duties, with lights removed from the grille and other minor adjustments, leaving subtle marks of residue that remain visible today. While service history from the Royal Household period is not available, as is customary, the car comes with full paper service records from 2016 onwards, its original Audi bookpack, and invoices for all maintenance undertaken during private ownership.During its time in Royal service, the car was seen on 3rd May 2015 being driven by HM King Charles III with Queen Camilla (formerly HRH Duchess of Cornwall), arriving at Kensington Palace to visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Later attending a charity polo match at Beaufort Polo Club, Tetbury, Gloucestershire on 14th June 2015, photographed with The Duchess of Cambridge with Prince George, while the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry took part in the match.Finished in a specialorder Audi exclusive colour, unique to the Royal Household, this Allroad blends in yet stands out if youre in the know. Its specification is comprehensive and exceptional, including softclose doors, walnut wood trim on the steering wheel and gear knob, BOSE surround sound, double glazing, fourzone climate control with heated front and rear seats, rear window blinds, adaptive main beam assist, ambient lighting, and the full Technology Pack including MMI navigation plus, MMI touch, Audi music interface, and phone prep with Connect. Every element of comfort, convenience, and practicality has been selected, making this one of the most complete Allroad specifications available. The condition is exceptional with the car benefitting from a meticulous maintenance regime including a major service and transmission work in April 2025 (£2,720) at Audi Edinburgh, bodywork and paint correction at Empire Paint in January 2026 (£1,800), and a full health check by Audi Specialist VAS Works (£1,600), leaving the car with a clean bill of health. The work also included a full major detail, with recently refurbished wheels, leaving the car visually and mechanically outstanding. Annual servicing has been consistent and fully documented with the car covering approximately 115,000 miles and having just two previous owners recorded on the V5.Accompanying the car is the original Audi bookpack, complete with handbooks and supporting literature, along with comprehensive paper service records. The subtle evidence of its Royal service, combined with its unique colour, high specification, and attentive longterm care, makes this Allroad a rare and historically significant example. Your early inspection is strongly encouraged.
