Jaguar XJS 1985 5.3 V12 HE Sports 2dr Auto

The Jaguar XJS is a car that needs little introduction, having long been one of the marques most sought after models in enthusiast circles. Early examples are becoming increasingly sought after due to their historic status and tax/MOT exemption, this 1985 XJS coupe is one such car, boasting the desirable 5.3 V12 engine, wire wheels, a 5 digit registration mark and some great overall potential. Finished in a classic gloss red throughout, the bodywork can be considered generally presentable and fundamentally good for its age, with some general blemishing and marking here and there. The interior is in much the same largely original form, remaining a nice place to be with age related wear and tear. The mileage is displayed at circa 34,800 miles which the previous keeper tells us they believe to be genuine. The car runs starts and drives and currently holds a valid MOT until February 2026, however the previous keeper of the car informs us that there have been some engine overheating issues recently and thus the car is being sold as needing a going over.
