The upgrades include Öhlins 2way adjustable dampers BST edition. Designed specifically for Polestar 2 BST edition 270, the Öhlins 2way adjustable front dampers offer unique, competitionbased tuning options for both compression and rebound. Combined with the updated Öhlins Dual Flow Valve rear dampers and custommade springs, they enhance car control through a 25 mm lower ride height, quicker steering response and optimal pressure balance. A higher powertrain output needs a higher level of control. To ensure that the BST edition 270 pairs exciting performance with predictable handling, the front suspension mounts are connected by a customfitted, aluminium strut bar, increasing the overall rigidity and enhancing steering stability at high speeds. Impressive power requires even more impressive stopping power. Thats why Polestar called on renowned Italian manufacturer Brembo to engineer the brakes fitted to Polestar 2 BST edition 270. Building on decades of competition experience, the discs, callipers and pads offer increased rigidity and quick response at any temperature while reducing weight, wear, noise and dust buildup. Recreating the design language of Polestar 1, the 21" Gloss Black Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels are exclusively engineered for Polestar 2 BST edition 270. Forged instead of cast, they pair increased strength with a lower unsprung weight, improving handling and road contact. To add to that, the rear wheels are slightly wider than the front wheels to decrease tyre flexibility and further enhance the cars stability and agility. As a fully electric, four wheel drive vehicle, it offers an impressive battery total capacity of 78 kWh, providing a maximum range of 282 miles when new. Charging is convenient, with a full charge at home taking approximately 12 hours using a 7kW charger, and a rapid charge to 80% achievable in just 40 minutes at a public charging station.
