Partial Service History, Exceptional 2000 registered Range Rover P38 4.6 V8 Petrol Vogue, finished in deep shiny Rioja Red Metallic Coachwork, Sandstone Leather with Red Piping, Deep Red Carpets and Burr Walnut Fascias. Very much like a Bordeaux Edition and likely a special order. I have driven this Range Rover for over 2,000 miles and can confirm it is a very good example indeed. The air suspension is fully working and lowers itself when at high speed, you can select entry level, normal driving and raised modes manually as required. The gearbox is lovely and smooth up and down the box, and in reverse. The engine fires straight from hot or cold and sounds glorious, loads of power, no smoke, tapping or rattling. The drive train, steering operates as they should with no unwanted knocks or noises. I have owned and driven many P38s over the years and this is one of the best. The roof lining is perfect and has likely been replaced at some point, the electric sunroof is watertight and works in slide / tilt modes. The electric windows and mirrors are fully working, and the pixels are all present on the radio & climate control screens. The electric seats and driver memory settings both functions properly. The remote central locking works properly from the key and the car also has a spare key. Supplied originally by Hereford Land Rover in March 2000, serviced thereafter at Hereford Land Rover at 6.6K, 12.4K and 28.6K. Serviced by Venture Land Rover of Newport Pagnell at 36K and 70.1K. Independent services carried out thereafter at 81.2K, 109K, 111.9K, 112.2K and 113.9K earlier this year. Documented recommissioning work carried out between August 2023 and May 2024 by Grease Monkeys Garage of St Albans totalling £3,817. Highlights from the recommissioning work included a new sunroof, new blend motors, new He-Vac panel, new drive belt, new heater o ring seals, new windscreen trims, powder coat alloy wheels, new battery, new front brake callipers, brake pads, full service and more. Another £2,000 of invoices including new central exhaust section, suspension components from the last 3 years. A new stainless steel rear exhaust section, featuring twin rear boxes and pipes, will be installed for the new owner. We have also ordered a gearbox service kit and will carry out a gearbox flush and full service. While the rear suspension airbags were replaced not long ago, the front airbags are now beginning to exhibit wear and tear. We have new Dunlop front airbags ready for installation.
