Ford Fiesta 1982 - XR2 3-Door

1982 Ford Fiesta MK1 XR2. This car has had 4 previous owners. The chap we bought it off has had it since 2010 and it was last on the road properly in about 2010. Its done 40 miles since then and was MOtd a few times but then stored away in a small collection. We have the V5 and old V5s showing all the previous owners, lots of receipts for parts and servicing over the years. There are a number of old MOTs with it as well as the original handbooks and two sets of keys. Its 99 percent complete and starts runs and drives but will need a little work to get it back on the road.Body - Original XR2 shell. Was previously restored in 2001 at which point it got two new Ford wings, front panel and fully repainted. Its had some repairs underneath and will need a small repair on drivers side floor. If someone wants to pay the full asking price we are happy to do that repair. The paintwork still looks good today and is perfectly useable. There is some bubbling around the sunroof. Good bodykit and bumpers. One corner bumper is missing as can be seen in the pictures.Mechanics - Engine was rebuilt in around 2010 when the last owner bought it. A receipt is in the file. It starts and runs but we are currently running it off a fuel can. i think the fuel lines and tank will need a flush out. Engine sounds good, clutch brakes and gearbox are all good. It will need a proper checkover and recommission before being used.Interior - All original Interior - Seats have no rips or tears. Dash has two very minor cracks but is still fairly decent compared with some ive seenWheels - 5 x Original Alloys which were refurbed about 20 yhears ago but still look decent.This will make a decent example with a little work.
