Background & History. Introduced in the late 1940s, the Velox sat at the top of Vauxhalls range as a more luxurious alternative to the Wyvern. Buyers were drawn to its smooth inline-six, generous glass area, broad bench seating and the unmistakable transatlantic look that defined early post-war Vauxhall design. These early 2.3-litre (2275cc) cars are now quite rare, admired for their period styling and relaxed, long-legged touring manners. This Vauxhall carries chassis number L 1 P 5 7 2 0 1The current owner has enjoyed the car for the past five years.
