Ford Capri 1977 - Hatchback

1977 Ford Capri Mk2 2.0 GL which has recently undergone a full nut and bolt restoration and is as nice as they come. Stunning example which was restored by Steve Capri at SM Classics in Doncaster. we have the V5, old V5s and receipts for 1000s of pounds of new parts. This is a beautiful car and the photos dont do it justiceBody - MK2 Capri shell which looks exceptional. Body is all painted body colour underneath with only a very light coating of stonechip or similar. You can see all the detail and the finish underneath is very good. Paintwork up top is lovely. The car is Venetian Red, although it did start life as Brown but was changed during the restoration. All the trim, rubbers, headlights and bumpers are in very good order. Lots of newold stock parts were sourced for this car we are told. Black vinyl roof is lovely and looks to have been done during the restoration. We have two sets of keys for the carMechanics - The car retains its original 2.0 engine and 4 speed box. It starts on the button and drives very very well. Everything has either been refurbished or replaced. The engine and gearbox were fully rebuilt during the restoration process by specialists. Interior - Black interior which is in very very good order. Lovely door cards, seats, headlining. No cracks in dash. Original radio fitted. New carpetWheels - Original steels which have been refurbished with good tyres.Few very minor points to note. Indicator tell take on dash has lost its green cover so flashes white. Gearknob is incorrect as this has the rod box with reverse to the right and back. presumably one wasnt available when it was restored but we will try find one.
