2 Previous Owners, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Brooklands Velocity; Mercedes-Benz World sale on Saturday 29th November. Manual gearboxSunroof. The 190E is one of those enduring classics. Unfussy to look at, superb to drive, well built, reliable and classless. We all know that Mercedes-Benz spent half a billion pounds developing this model, excessive at first sight until you realise that this investment ushered in a new dawn of motorcars for the Stuttgart manufacturer that carried them through to the next decade. With many trim levels and mechanical options, a wide variety of discerning customers was catered for but based on this pure-bred mechanical platform.Originally registered on 31st March 1993 this Mercedes-Benz presents well in Almandine with black cloth interior. 190Es were basic models, with a long list of options, this example has electric front windows, alloy wheels and a sunroof. The mileage of 36,084 is certainly modest for a 32 year old car, unfortunately the service history has been misplaced. However, looking at the car, it is clear that this has been a well looked after example. The 1797cc engine runs well and the manual gearbox is smooth to operate. Offered for sale with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 16th March 2026 this Mercedes-Benz 190E is offered for sale without reserve and could well prove to be a bargain.
