Lotus Elan 1972 - 1972. £20k repaint in Yellow / Cirrus White. Mohair Hoo

Lotus Elan Sprint DHC, 1972. I sold this Sprint 41 years ago to a good friend of mine. He had the Elan for over 30 years and he sold it my best friend who then owned it for 8 years. I never thought I would ever own it again! A truly wonderful example having had a stunning full repaint costing nearly £20k (my friend being a very fastidious gentleman and Lotus Historian!). Superb in Lotus Yellow over Cirrus White. We have just fitted a new mohair hood and tonneau which is tailored around the detachable roll hoop. Aluminium fuel tank. Just 65k miles with masses of history going back to when I bought the Sprint in 1984 from a gentleman in the South of England. His other car was a virtually new Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. This really is a very special car to me as I have seen and driven it over this long period of time as both my friends still live just 12 miles away from us. Delivery worldwide
