It has a left hand operated accelerator/brake lever, and a right hand operated accelerator wheel. If you dont require any of the adaptions you see on the photo we can remove 99% of the adaptions no problem (we are qualified technicians here at WVNE, so nothing is an issue)There are 2 options to use this WAV.1. The wheelchair user comes into the vehicle with there own wheelchair/scooter and right into the front of the vehicle to where the drivers seat would be so that they can drive the vehicle solely themselves. There is a DAHL docking station fitted to secure the wheelchair/scooter (you do require a docking station pin to be fitted)2. Is the standard WAV operation where the wheelchair user sits in the rear and is clipped into their wheelchair with the securing straps and seatbelt. This means the drivers seat is retained.The benefit of this is that it has a remote operated tailgate and rear ramp so ideal if you struggle to operate these manually. You basically press the 2 button switch located on the dashboard which opens the boot lid fully and then the ramp comes down. This then enables the user to drive there wheelchair into the vehicle and drive into where the drivers seat would be located. You press the close button on the dash which then stows the ramp and shuts the boot lid. It also has an electronic handbrake, which again is operated by a single button on the dash (ON/OFF).As with all of our WAVs, the vehicles have all been into our own dedicated workshop and had a full service. This also includes an oil and filter change (using the correct grade oil), a fuel filter and an air filter change too.We have also carried out an 82 point approved inspection by our own dealer level in-house qualified technicians.
