Significant expenditure over the last five years. Left hand drive and five-speed gearbox. The Porsche 964 was designed by Benjamin Dimson in 1986 and manufactured between 1989 and 1994. It featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models and was considered to be 85% new when compared to its predecessor. The 964 Carrera boasted a new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 with a flat-six, 3.6 litre engine with power steering and ABS brakes added for the very first time. Exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush into the car allowing for better aerodynamics and a new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50mph. Revised instrumentation featured a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car's central warning system, also adding to the sense of Porsches legendary reliability. The road going Targa was equipped with a removable roof panel and plastic rear window, with a fixed glass version available from 1968, offering the best of open top motoring. This left hand drive Porsche 964 presents well in Anthracite with black leather interior. The vendor has spent over £16,000 on this 911 during his five years of ownership. The original service books are present, together with a good history folder. We are advised G828 WGW drives well with no known faults. The engine has the familiar tone of Porsches flat-six and the five-speed gearbox operates smoothly and efficiently. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 17th June 2026. These classic looking 911s being the last to feature the upright headlamps are effortless to drive and offer brisk performance, this is a good example of a motoring icon. Consigned by Stewart Banks
