ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION: Powering the B3 is Alpina's reworked version of BMW's N54 engine, a 3-litre twin-turbocharged straight-six producing 360hp and 500 Nm of torque. Tuned for effortless mid-range performance and long-distance refinement, the B3 achieve 0-60mph in a swift 4.8 seconds. Reprogrammed with Alpina's Switch-Tronic software, the 6-speed ZF automatic gearbox offers both relaxed cruising and rapid manual shifts when desired. The ride is composed yet engaging, thanks to Alpina's unique suspension calibration, making the B3 as competent on a spirited B-road drive as it is on the motorway. Last serviced at BMW in November 2024 and fully inspected on arrival at 4 Star, the car is in great mechanical shape.
