MG MGB 1980 - 2-Door

1980 MGB GT in Black. Original rubber bumper car with a new MOT. Despite being 45 years old the car has never even left Suffolk, having been sold new by Mann Egerton of Bury St Edmunds - it still has their original numberplates and tax disc holder and Ziebart corrosion protection applied from new which has kept it surprisingly solid underneath. It has a huge amount of history with pretty much every MOT and tax disc from new. The car shows 4 keepers (address changes and transfer from husband to wife) but has basically had just 2 owners from new, the last since 1998. A pretty original thing - check out the retro Pioneer tape deck! Ive had her recommissioned with replacement Uniroyal tyres all round, fluids changed, a service, plugs, fuel lines, new battery and a few other bits and shes running and driving. Being 45 years old it is MOT exempt (Ive had one done anyway for peace of mind - valid until August 2026) and also now qualifies for free historic road tax. Ideal little starter classic for someone - a long way from concours but a roadworthy running and driving starter classic that is ideal for tinkering!
