The experience at Vertu Vauxhall Waltham Cross was ok because so far I’m happy with the initial experience at the time of purchase except the missing car key (which is being rectified). But since taking the vehicle home I realised the software was not updated in the car prior to purchasing and the My Vauxhall App for the car is completely useless and an embarrassment to a company such as Vauxhall. Had I have known I couldn’t send requests on the app for things like heating my car up, I would have thought twice about purchasing. I’ve since read many reviews and found that it is a very well known problem with the app not connecting to the car even though it’s set up properly and you’ve even sat in the car with your phone and the app and it still won’t send a request.
My experience at Vertu Vauxhall Waltham Cross could have been better because i was told I correct information about another car I wanted to test drive. I was told that my offer of finance would run out the next day as it was the last day of the month. I was told that when I purchased a car I would be given a new set of car mats. I wasn't. I felt like it was more important that the car was processed in a hurry to suit sales figures, not for me to get the car sooner. I was told that they were unable to deliver the car, despite being 10 minutes away, as they were short staffed. I was told to "just enter codes" to reply to messages sent to my phone, I was not advised to read them.
The experience at Vertu Vauxhall Waltham Cross was very good because the staff, specially Tipo, was very friendly and helpful! I felt welcomed and trusted that he had my best interest at heart through this whole process. He’s kept in touch with me many times and I know I can contact him anytime. I would recommend that kind of service to my friends and loved ones or even stranger, at any times. The process was easy and smooth.
