Bought this lovely SLK on Saturday from Troon Cars. Drove it home 90 miles back to Essex and it drove like a dream. Great service from start to finish from Billy. He sorted my tax and 12 month AA breakdown cover (all part of the service). Really professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Troon Cars again. Would definitely recommend. Five stars!

"While the purchase process itself was quick and straightforward, my experience after receiving the car has been a little challenging. I had specifically asked if there were any issues, and was told there weren't, so I was a bit surprised when the delivery driver mentioned a persistent seatbelt light. This, unfortunately, turned out to be an early indicator of further issues, as the check engine light has been appearing quite frequently as well as some other minor issues and I'm now working with a garage to resolve that. It's been a more expensive purchase than anticipated due to these unexpected repairs, especially as I didn't negotiate on the price. I do wonder if perhaps the car wasn't fully checked before sale, but I'm inclined to give the dealer the benefit of the doubt that they weren't aware of these issues. For future buyers, I would gently suggest arranging an in-person viewing to thoroughly check the vehicle's condition and ensure everything is as expected. Despite these unforeseen circumstances, I still believe the car was sold in good faith; it just didn't quite work out as perfectly for me as I'd hoped, They seem to have many great reviews so please do give them a chance this was just my experience.
