2 Previous Owners, This lot will be auctioned via Historics Classic and Sportscar Auctioneers at The Pace of Autumn; Ascot Racecourse sale on Saturday 20th September. Jaguar cars today are designed in Jaguar Land Rover's engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and at their Gaydon site in Warwickshire with manufacturing in the Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996 with the first generation of the series, the XK8, replacing the XJS and available as a coupe and convertible. It was the first eight-cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. The XK8 came with 17" alloy wheels, leather interior, air conditioning, burr walnut trim and side airbags as standard. This very nice example is presented in silver with black leather interior and was first registered on 8th November 2000. It was acquired by the present owner on 1st February 2005 and has enjoyed a comprehensive history from 2005 whilst in her ownership. The car has always been garaged and kept on trickle charge whilst in its present ownership. It comes with a present MoT test certificate which expires 31st January 2026 and has covered a mere 52,000 miles from new. With its smooth 3996cc V8 engine and the usual Jaguar interior luxury, this model is great for touring with great performance to match. Offered without reserve, this is a lot of car for the money as one says! Consigned by James Good
