Car condition wasn't as advertised. Said they would fix the faults. Waited 6 days for the car to be "ready." I turned up to do the deal to find none of the issues had been repaired, none! He said the dashboard warning light was an oversite, and he would get the adblue topped up to turn off warning light. Paint touch ups not done, but he said he would do them right now because he had some of the paint. I waited for him to touch-up paint, and he returned less than 10 minutes later saying "all done." I thought that was quick. I looked at the car, and he hadn't touched up around the edge of the bonnet as requested 6 days earlier. When I showed him he started getting agitated saying he had done it but "needs a second coat," I rubbed my finger where the paint was supposed to be and there was no wet paint on me or the car. He then said "I have done it are you calling me a liar, I can show you on the cctv I painted the bonnet it's just dried quickly in the sun but I will give it another go if you like. And you can apologise for calling me a liar!" I was going to walk away there and then, but I'd already swapped my insurance over and got everything ready for the swap over. He said he could get the car to a garage now and get the adblue fixed, touch-up paint (again), and all done. So I offered to take the car to be fixed myself, that way I could see what they were going to do. I took the car around the corner to the garage, who tried to top-up the adblue, but warning light wouldn't turn off. He even tried to use his diagnostic equipment but couldn't find a fault. So I took the car back. Different attitude now, all nicey saying sorry about the issues can he make it up to me by offering me a 12 month warranty. And he would get the car fixed asap. By this time, I'd had enough. I mentioned the warning light and numberplate both being MOT failures and was surprised the car would pass with two obvious MOT failures. He gave me my deposit back without question, funny that. Car had been MOT'd and "passed" with dashboard warning light on regarding the Adblue system, which is an MOT failure and number plate delamination, which is another MOT failure, but somehow, this car "passed" without advisories! Also car was filthy. Stained seats, dirty windscreen with sellotape holding a sticker on. Total waste of time.

My husband bought a car off this garage about a month ago. What can I say…..had a couple of problems with it within a couple of weeks of receiving the car. Had spoke to poolstock cars and arranged to get it fixed. After getting the car back it still wasn’t fixed so he spoke to them again. This time the guy at poolstock was very unpleasant towards my husband who just wanted a car that ran okay….nothing spectacular! The customer service he received was awful as he was told he was being an awkward customer and got shouted at down the line just because he wanted the car fixed or a refund to which he was told he would have to go through solicitors for. Never have I come across such terrible customer service in my life. Please be aware of who your buyer cars off as everyone has different experiences with people!
