The 2.0TDI is one of the strongest and most capable engines Out on the road, this car performs and handles like a regular hatchback - It is only when you need the assistance of all-wheel drive that you will feel the difference. You may note that this is a 4 motion model - You should be aware that not all Tiguans are 4 wheel drive, but I would recommend paying a little extra to have one that is - particularly when winter is just around the corner. It really is an absolute joy to drive - It is so easy and maneuverable and it feels strong and secure despite the relatively compact dimensions. Whilst it still has enough room for a family of 5 (and their luggage) it is no larger than a conventional family hatchback. This model has a winning combination of VW's renowned 2 litre TDI engine and a 6 speed manual transmission, which feels slick and precise with fast changes and well chosen ratios for relaxed cruising and safe overtaking.
