Just like to say thank you very much to the team at Huddersfield Nissan, I had a fantastic experience, not pushy at all and very informative. It was plain sailing from start to finish. The best car buying experience I’ve had.

I bought an excellent car from Huddersfield Cars 2. However I must say that they are the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. I have never written a online review before but I felt it was necessary after my awful experience. Below is the list of 4 main issues we experienced with them, there are also some other smaller issues. 1. Fuel \xa350 I was invoiced from \xa350 however they stated he had put \xa320 of fuel in. He didn’t correct this till I pointed it out. 2. Premium Delivery Pack I paid for a Premium Delivery Pack including mats, boot liner and safety kit for \xa3165.85. These items were not in the car at all. They didn’t bring mats and boots liner until I pointed it out. There is no safety kit in the car. Customer service confirmed that it would be delivered to me directly, over a month later I still haven’t received it. 3. Gap Insurance I paid for Gap Insurance \xa3300. I noticed that they hadn't sorted it out even a few days after purchase. They didn’t register us until I chased it up. 4. Parcel Shelf I noticed that the parcel shelf was missing after I brought the car back home. It should have been included as it was shown on the photo of the car advert. When I chased them up they said that some models do not include this (which is not true). Luckily I had a screenshot to prove and sent it to them. Even though it was clearly their error, they refused to send it to me and told me to come and pick it up instead. This would be a two hour trip for me and I have explained that difficult personal circumstances prevent us from doing this at present. Then they confirmed that they delivered it to the Barnsley branch. I went but it was not there. Staff at the Barnsley branch had no idea why I was there and where it was. However I must say that the Barnsley branch staff were helpful. They’ve got it in the end. One of their staff kindly delivered it to my house. Poor people, it was none of their fault. These are simple problems which could have been easily resolved with some basic customer care weeks ago. I have not received a proper apology (one initial apology from customer support but after that they stopped responding to my emails) for any of the issues above nor have I been contacted by the branch manager. I feel that this dealership is dishonest (this is at an embarrassing level) and disrespectful towards customers and basic customer service is severely lacking.

This would be no stars but couldnt post without. I wouldnt bother with this place as my experience with them was a shambles and completely unprofessional. I put a reserve on a Toyota Hilux and went to view the vehicle. When I walked into the showroom, the first thing said was that a mistake had been made with the advertising. The vehicle had been advertised for \xa31500 less than it should have been. Quite fairly, I was told that the dealership would stand by this price, which I thought was reasonable. I liked the vehicle and paid a deposit and was told it would be prepared and mot'd ready for me to pick up in around a weeks time. This is when the game playing started. An inflated figure for the warranty had been added to the bill but this is quite common and I could reject it. I was told it had an oil leak that was being checked and that no cosmetic repairs would be done due to the pricing error. Again this was fair enough. During this time i noticed the vehicle had been readvertised at the higher price. It was available to reserve even though i had \xa3500 down on it. I called and was told it was usual practice and it would remain advertised until i drove it away. I mentioned at this point i wouldnt be taking out their warranty and was offered an immediate reduction of \xa3200 on the price. This proved to me it was overpriced to start with and felt like an attempt to recoup some of the money lost in the advertising error. Further communication was patchy over the week and eventually I called to see if the vehicle would be ready on the date we had discussed. I was at this point told I would be getting my deposit back as after inspection the vehicle needed \xa33000 worth of repairs (parts cost only). I asked for a breakdown and was given a list of massively overinflated parts costs. My own research of purchasing these parts as non-trade came to \xa3465. I tried to negotiate purchasing the vehicle and was told by a manager if i paid \xa313995 (higher than the advertised price) they would make it "roadworthy". Another sales person had told me the vehicle was going to auction. I was told it would be 5 days before I got my deposit back which is frustrating when I'm in the process of trying to find another vehicle. The vehicle in question has not gone to auction but is still being advertised on their website for the higher price but with none of the work done as far as i know. Be very cautious. Cars2 wanted to recoup the money they were going to lose by advertising the vehicle at the wrong price by being dishonest and disingenuous. They had no intention of selling me the vehicle at the lower price and should have just told me that to start with. I wouldn't have wasted my time and still been waiting for my \xa3500 back 3 weeks later.

I'm delighted with my Dacia Bigster, bought from the brand new Dacia showroom in Huddersfield. Thanks to the entire team for a truly personable experience. As they grow into the new site I'm sure their service will get even better! Thoroughly recommended.

AVOID Cars2 Huddersfield – Broken Promises, Poor Service, and No Accountability If you’re considering buying from Cars2 Huddersfield (Nissan) — don’t. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I’m still dealing with unresolved issues five weeks after I was meant to collect the car. • Wrong Tyre Fitted – The car was handed over with the wrong tyre. Three weeks later, it still hadn’t been ordered. I had to get it sorted myself. They initially agreed to reimburse me, but are now completely ignoring my emails and the invoice I sent. • Central Locking Faulty – The central locking system didn’t work when I received the car. • Glass Canopy Didn’t Lock – When trying to fix this, they removed the actuator that controls the central locking. As a result, the back of the car no longer locks automatically — an unacceptable and careless “repair.” • Steering Wheel Misalignment – This was an issue on delivery, despite being told the car had been balanced. To their credit, this was eventually corrected, but only after significant delays. • Three Weeks in Their Workshop – They had the car for three weeks before delivery. While some issues (like the steering and parts of the locking) were resolved, others — like the tyre and second key — were completely ignored. • Second Key Refused – I was promised a second key, but after the sale they went back on this agreement and refused to provide one. • Appalling Customer Service – When I raised concerns with the manager Chris, he arrogantly told me “You should have bought a new car.” That kind of response is rude, unprofessional, and shows exactly how little they value customers once they’ve made the sale. This dealership has been unreliable, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. If you want a hassle-free experience and a company that actually supports you after purchase — do not use Cars2 Huddersfield.
