Vauxhall Astra 1987 (E) - 2.0i GTE 3dr

An extremely original and well presented MK2 Astra GTE, which is unrestored. These cars are extremely rare in this condition now. We have a large history file with the car, including receipts,old MOTs, original handbooks. The car was a Practical Classics Magazine Buyers Guide feature car. A copy is with the history file. We have two sets of keys. Body - This car still appears to have its original paintwork and panels with zero corrosion. Its very straight along the sides and the paintwork still presents very very well. There are a few stonechips on the front of the bonnet but otherwise stunning. They are only original once. Rear arches and sills are spot on.Bumpers and trim are all good. The engine bay and front chassis rails are superb, again with no corrosion at all.Mechanics - All completely standard and in good working order. Car has recently been MOTD which expires Feb 26. The car last had a cambelt about 1000 miles ago. Its not done a lot of miles in recent years and has mainly been dry stored with occasional use.InteriorA nice early interior, showing very little signs of any wear. The seats are superb and really demonstrate that it has been looked after, with the bolsters still being very tight and firm, with no holes or wear marks showing.The carpets are still nice and thick, with all four original rubber mats. Digital dash display works perfectly with no missing pixels, and still looks fantastically retro.Steering wheel and gearknob still look fantastic, it would be difficult to guess this car had covered 76,000 miles. Original stereo is still fitted which works just as it should do, and no aftermarket speakers have been fitted, parcel shelf is untouched.Wheels -Original Alloys in very good condition with good tyres.This is an exceptional example of one of these and they are becoming increasingly rare.
