Caveat emptor - buyer beware. I’d go into any transaction with Ben from BC Performance Cars, with a great degree of caution. Once challenged, or faced with a loss of control, he is quite happy to treat honesty as a disposable commodity, rather than admit an error of judgment. He reacted to an accurate assessment of a conversation I had with him, regarding a pre-purchase inspection (which you can find on Autotrader), by being dishonest about what was said. He was also dishonest about his assessment of me as a genuine customer. Unless of course you think that the average tyre-kicker will spend \xa3200 plus on a pre-purchase inspection. If this is how Ben behaves before he has secured a sale, It doesn’t take a genius to work out how he would be likely to behave, once your money is in his bank account.
