Rare Factory Left Hand Drive.Meticulous previous owner of over 10 years who bought the bus as a 50th birthday present having searched the market for a good while prior and was not impressed with the overall quality of the standard Danbury conversions he had seen. He was very fortunate to find a Brazilian T2 Kombi that had been imported but not converted to right hand drive. We have long considered RHD conversions a bad idea as it leads to many complications. This bus has only covered 28,500 miles (46,000KM) from new and has reportedly never let the previous owner down, having done several trips in and around Europe.The previous owner spent thousands on the bus to further improve drivability as well as the versatility of the interior and finally the overall aesthetics. The bus is was fully repainted in beautiful sealing wax red / Beige grey. One of the iconic early 60s colour schemes. We bought our 1967 split screen camper van from UK Sports Cars and had the best service and advice. We purchased a 1967 Splitscreen from UK Sports Cars in April 2025. Sam made the process easy from start to finish. As we agreed to buy the bus prior to fit out, we were able to have input into the interior design, and some of the features. It has turned out a great bus, and we are very proud to have it join our family. I bought my car from UK Sports last June (2024). It ran well making 2 long journeys of about 370 miles each before 'SORNing' it from December and re-taxing it from 1st April. The car was very well presented and demonstrated. There was no pressure to buy with my many questions being answered honestly. On the first day out this year it developed a fuel problem with what seemed a failed pump. While stopped, Paul drove by and pulled over to see what was wrong. After he left 2 lads from UK Sports arrived to tow the car to UK Sports. They found the fault and I collected the car the following Monday. The day after I made another trip of just under 400 miles. What more can one say, nothing but praise and thanks to all at UK Sports. The website is good with thorough descriptions of their cars. There is a good range of vehicles available.
