Typical scammers, went to see a Mazda5, rusty brakes, started the car, the car was sat over 3-4+ months. After 5-10 minutes of idling, the car started smoking from the exhaust. Asked the representative how long has it been sat for, he said I don’t know. Wouldn’t recommend going.

This place tried to sell me a car with a brand new mot. The tryre was flat and damaged on the wall to the point it couldnt get pumped up... god knows how it passed MOT unless dodgy garage. Worst part is that i called the garage to see of the timing kit/chain was replaced in BMW engine as per servicebook and they said.. we have never had the equipment to lift engine from bay.. total SCAM. I offered to buy it with 600 nocked off and i would fix chain at mynown cost \xa3900* and they refused.. they are def trying to scam next person. I gave them 2 weeks to fix and contact me back andi never heard from them.

Very helpful staff with many financial options. Well maintained yard with well maintained cars. I've been even offered a coffee and on their yard you can also enjoy food from food truck.

I really recommend this car dealership. The sellers are not pressurized, all my questions were answered. I ended up making a very successful purchase from them. The car that I'm proud owner of is great. And the price was also very attractive compared to other car dealerships. I recommend "Car4you Cardiff" to any one looking for a very good and affordable used car!

Went in earlier today to view a car I’ve had my eye on for about a week or so. When I arrived I was greeted very promptly by a gentleman I’d quickly spoken to earlier in the day. He went away and grabbed the keys straight away and left me to inspect the car which I appreciated. The car for the most part did appear as listed however there were some discrepancies such as it being listed as having Sat Nav (was missing the SD card) and Cruise Control (simply wasn’t a feature and cross checked with the manual in the glove box). The main one however unlike usual wear and tear (paint chipped away also crack in the rear bumper which is visible in one of the photos but only really if you know it’s there but again not listed) was a Zone B crack in the windshield (doesn’t shown in any of the listed photos which means it’s either hidden somehow or has happened on their watch since the pictures were taken) while I didn’t measure it, I’m 95% sure would fail the MOT they say they will put on the car before you drive away. Once done with my inspection I was still reasonably happy with the car and went in to speak to the person from before (apologies I didn’t catch his name). As I had done over email I questioned any possession of service history and same as before I was told it was all digital (however could be obtained from the dealership in person so im not entirely sure why no one bothered to do this), which I accept as my other car is exactly the same, he did manage to produce services for 2015/16 with some receipts for tyres and labour, these however did not include what I was actually looking for which was a timing belt change and with this car being 9 years old with 122k it should have had at least one changed. What I didn’t say at the time is that I’d done my own due diligence and pulled some strings to get the dealerships service records so I knew there hadn’t been a belt change in its lifetime and also knew that if I were to make this purchase that would then cost me upwards of \xa3600 to get done. To add insult to injury when then discussing the windscreen I was told as it would come as personal cost to the garage (\xa3350) they would not be replacing it but instead what I should do it take out windscreen cover on my new insurance policy and then claim from them to have it repaired all while knocking off \xa350 from the car to cover that cost. This was a huge red flag for me and something I was not willing to do. It was also explained that one of the front wheel bearings had gone though I wasn’t quite sure whether he was just prepping me for an advisory on the MOT or if this was something they were actually going to fix before hand. Despite all this and my better judgement I wanted to see if they were open to a little haggle knowing full well to get this car back into top shape was going to cost in the ballpark of \xa31000. Surprise surprise the gentleman wasn’t having any of it telling me lots of people wanted the car (which is a load of rubbish because you can see the exact car in the same place on the lot on google maps with the image dated a month ago so it’s hardly flying out of there) even got told that someone wanted the car yesterday as is, without repairs or MOT or even viewing and offered \xa35200 (priced at \xa35499) and their boss said NO!? Either I’ve missed a trick or the used car industry has changed a lot since I last bought a second hand motor? All a shame really as I did really want that car and had the cash on me to purchase then and there but you win some you lose some and the experience has put me off ever returning despite their varied inventory and otherwise friendly staff.
