Partial Service History, Citroen relay camper van The conversion The van was purchased 4 years ago as a empty works van, I spent over a year viewing vans waiting for one in immaculate condition to come up and thankfully I found this van not only was it immaculate it recently had thousands spend by the company who owned it on an engine rebuild, gearbox rebuild, new turbo and other mechanical work. All backed up by invoice and receipts.Conversion details 2 berth with 3 belted seats. Seating area for 2 with large table Large Shower and toilet roomHot and cold running water Full size double bed Huge amounts of work top space. Large amount of storage throughout the van Solar and electrics The house battery in the van runs at 24v unlike the traditional 12v conversions, the simplified reason for this is to save some weight while allowing higher output inverters to be used.200AH @ 24v lithium batteries equivalent storage capacity to 8 traditional leisure batteries the batteries alone are worth over £2000 150AH battery management system with bluetooth and inbuilt safety cut offs such as low temp disconnect short circuit etc 880w of high end split solar panels provide all the power you ever need. An all in one MPP solar hybrid inverter with built in MPPT solar input, as well as mains charging capabilities provides 240v power to several sockets through the van. This inverter outputs 3000w continuous with peaks of 6000w, plenty to run the likes of microwaves, induction hobs, or hair dryers even while full off grid. A Victron Orion Tr smart battery to battery charger provides the house batteries with charge whilst the van is running. Bluetooth The heating A 5k diesel heater plumbed directly into the main diesel tank provides huge amounts of heat, even in the middle of sweden at 14 I only needed to run the heater on its lowest setting for 1 hour to bring the temperature to a toasty degress 22 degrees.Underfloor heating that runs direct from the batteries keeps you feet warm, and in milder conditions can keep the van a comfortable temperature. The water system The van has the 75l fresh water tank and a 6l hot water tank. Both mounted internally under the kitchen worktops to avoid freezing when used in sun zero temperatures. All pipes are flexible silicone pipe work to avoid the all to common floods that happen when pipes freeze, if these pipes freeze with the expand without cracking and causing a leak.25l grey water tankThe shower toilet roomLarge 1m x 1m pentagon shower trayThe shower has both hot and cold water, hot water is provided from the 2000w 6l water heater, simply pre heat the water and enjoy and nice warm off grid shower. Many different types of toilets can be used within the space, we opted for a dry toilet to avoid chemicals but a chemical or compost toilet could also be used. The shower room has LED lighting along with a powerful extractor fan that helps keep toilet smells out of the living area, and also to remove moisture when showering. The kitchen Large amounts of worktop space mean plenty of prep area, portable induction hobs mean cooking can be done on the main worktop or the smaller worktop upfront, cooking outside is also possible thanks to 240v sockets fitted near the doors.A power extractor fan removes food smells and moisture, while an adjustable speed dial allows you to chose the suitable speed Cupboards above the kitchen give vast amounts of storage, while LED lights recessed into the cupboards illuminate to worktop. A large stainless steel sink and hot water means washing up is just like at home. 5 draws allow for large amount of storage. The bedsA true double bed with a full 6 by 4 x 46 double mattress, there is a huge 6ft 7 of width in the bed area thanks to carefully designed indents in the walls to make the most of the vans width.Traditional Pine bed slats allow the mattress to breath which helps avoid mould. The seating area The seating area is cleverly raised approx 7 From the floor, allowing 3 draws under each seat, and a nice hidden storage area ideal for canned foods and sparesExterior I have opted to keep the van plain to make stealth camping easier, I have spend many night in major citys with absolutely no issues, and Im not so sure this would be possible with a camper will of decals announcing your presence. The van itself The van was purchased approximately 2 years ago from a company near London, as mentioned it took over a year to find an immaculate van the slightly higher mileage did not concern me given the recent engine and gearbox overhaul, when searching for lower mileage vehicles I found them to be in much worse condition due to being builders vans etc the better condition vans tend to be courier removal vans but the trade off is higher mileage.173k with under 20k on the rebuilt/new components. 10 month MOT remains Excellent condition Enterprise model benefits from AC cruise.
