Chevrolet 3100 2013 - Pickup

For sale 1949 Chevrolet 3600, 5 window, step side pick upMy has owned the truck about 4 years and is stunning as can be seen It is running an original straight 6 petrol engine and manual gearbox which has been set up and drives superb.Underneath the chassis were all redone and powder coated by the previous owner; new suspension, mustang front clip etc everything was new underneath.When we bought it the truck just needed finishing and setting up, it was taken to be tuned to get it running right, carb sorted, filters, gaskets etc.The interior was retrimmed, new headlining, grass floor, electrics sorted and a radio installed. An after market Speedo was fitted as some of the gauges do not work, not that there is many.Outside the front bumper, side steps and bed strips were powder coated and new bed was fitted and stained, the wooden sides were added to the back.petrol tank fumes in the cab were noticeable as the tank is behind the seat as with all these so an additional tank was fitted inside the trunk in the bed as pictured, Easily reversible if required.The bodywork is exceptional for a 75 year old truck, as stated the body is superb with very little rust but obviously not perfect. The paint work is a Matt green finish and works well on the body, again not perfect and has marks but that doesn't matter with a truck like this.Over all it has a fantastic stance, rides superb, uk registered for many years and is tax and mot exempt.
