Produced in the 1980s, it was the luxury version of the FLT Tour Glide, and introduced many of the engineering features that became the foundation of HarleyDavidsons modern touring range,The original FLT Tour Glide appeared as a 1980 model and was a major departure from the traditional Electra Glide.
