Description: The 1977 Suzuki GT500 is one of the last great streetgoing Japanese twostroke motorcycles before emissions regulations and the rise of fourstrokes changed the industry. Its a machine with a surprisingly deep history because the GT500 was really the final evolution of Suzukis famous T500 Titan, a bike that had been around since the late 1960s,This example has been subject to a groundup rebuild by our vendor, a retired motorcycle mechanic, with a spend on parts and materials of over £8,000,The bike has had ""everything done"" including a full engine rebuild with new crank, rods, seals, pistons, rings and a rebore. It benefits from a new gearbox and the frame and all parts have been repainted. In addition, new rims from Japan with new spokes and tyres have been sourced, the tank has been painted, and new fork stanchions, seals and seat along with new mirrors and indicators have been fitted,Finished in Candy Gypsy Red No.3 (1977) with gold and black coachlines,Only 18 miles since the completion of the restoration,This showwinning bike comes with a current V5C, is running and riding well and now ready to be enjoyed by its new owner,A rare opportunity to purchase an absolutely superb example of Suzuki's legendary GT500, which surely must rank as one of the best in the country.,
