Description: The BSA Rocket Gold Star was built between 1962 and 1964 with around 1,800 produced in total,It was a combination of the Gold Star and the 650cc A10 engine with higher compression,The model became the ultimate 'caf racer' in the 1960s,This Rocket Gold Star is presented in good overall condition,Engine turns with good compression, not run for a year or two, so will require some recommissioning before road use,Engine numbers appear correct, frame appears to have been painted but numbers visible,Originally shipped to USA West Coast importer Hap Alzina in January 1963,Purchased in 2008 from the USA by previous owner who built the bike to its current condition and fitted with a non original fuel tank,Great looking example with some nice patina,Previous owner was part of the BSA RGS owners club and verifies the bike as correct numbers,Buyers must satisfy themselves with the originality and authenticity before bidding,No paperwork with this lot,Not UKregistered,
