ChelmsfordDEUS CUSTOM BOBBER KAWASAKI W650 ...This stunning one of a kind custom bike, is a no expense spared build , to Deus premium hardtail bobber specification . Based on a 2004 Kawasaki W650 , the motor is a 676cc vertical twin mated to a fivespeed manual gearbox. An exceptionally lowmileage bike, the odometer shows 1,270 km .. The bike was imported into Australia in 2008 and was owned in a prominant collection for 13 years . It was used for promotional events by Australian custom lifestyle business Deus Ex Machina , as well as other brands, most recently featured by Breitling. Meticulously serviced and wellcared for by its previous owner, it has extremely low mileage for its age . A full history of its maintenance since importation to Australia is available . The bike was then imported into the UK in 2021, Import Duties were paid and a NOVA certificate issued ..The bike joined an eclectic collection here, and has also been displayed at a few UK exhibitions, but not ridden ..Completely bespoke with a custom paint job, the motor is said to be the only original part of the Kawasaki remaining . The bike has never suffered any bodywork damage, and the custom cream and grey paintwork is in excellent condition . There is a paint chip in the middle of the handlebar and a small scratch on the bevel drive cover . The alloy engine covers present with a small amount of oxidisation and there is some texture in the powder coating on the righthand side of the frame next to the chain drive. However, the trim, upholstery and running gear is in excellent condition. Its controls and electronics work well, with no faults and no warning lights.The bike received an annual service every year from 2009 to 2017, when it was stored for twoandahalf years before being returned to the road. To prepare for this, in December 2016 the tank and carburettors were drained, the oil, filter and plugs were refreshed, and the battery was disconnected. On in January 2020, the bike was out of storage and prepared for use again with fresh oil, filter and plugs, new pod filters, brake fluid and a new battery. It hasnt been ridden since , but has lived a pampered life in warm surroundings .The Kawasakis rear frame was modified to convert the bike to a hardtail, with the rear wheel laced to 17 inches from 18 and the front laced to 21 inches from 19. The bike features a pod filter conversion, twointoone exhaust with tulip muffler, as well as an alloy electrical and battery box with lithium battery, Daytona speedo, tanks from a Yamaha SR500, Batesstyle headlight, Posh Bullet indicators, Springer seat, and alloy fenders and drag bars ...
