My experience at Waylands Oxford was excellent. I used Waylands because they had preregistration the vehicle I was looking for. Nabeel contacted me after I had reviewed the vehicle on line and looked after me throughout the spec, deal agreement, trip to part ex and collect and followed up with me afterwards. Great personal service.
My experience at Waylands Oxford could have been better because. I purchased the car and on appearance it looked really good. I drove it home which took a couple of hours and on arrival after getting some fresh air I went back into the car. The car now warm smelt of dogs, and I could see dirt inside the car which I was impressed with. I checked the boot area and it absolutely stank of dogs. I complained to the dealership who eventually agreed to get it cleaned. The valeter cleaned the car and said it was a strong smell of dogs mixed with chemicals where someone’s tried cleaning and masking the smell. The handover documents had ticks for cleanliness and odour checked. They clearly hadn’t checked this and by trying to hide the smell they knew there was a problem. After the cleaning it still smells and I’m not impressed, I feel very let down by the dealership
My experience at Waylands Oxford could have been better. Started okay, was first told they took my purchase from the Polestar's online system to their own system for easy of use their end which has caused many issues for me as i was supposed to automatically get 24 months warranty/roadside assistance. This was not the case because Waylands (i assume as I'll probably never know) had not informed Polestar of the sale going through so when i had called Polestar to sort out a problem after two weeks of having the car they first said i have no warranty/roadside assistance, but after i explained to them and them digging they have now added this to my car. Upon delivery of the car, I checked the car, seemed all good at first (New car excitement) but i would say that the outside was okay, the inside not so much compared. Wayland had not done a factory reset of the car so i had found information within the cars infotainment system on the last owner as well as instax picture of them inside. Next would be that i have a problem with my front screen vents, these don't open properly and again this car was supposed to have had checks done before being handed to me, I've now have to book into my local service center to get this fixed and hopefully it'll be under warranty (No guarantees though). Next would be the communication, where i feel like i wasn't important (Not that i expect the world but enough that you pay attention and get back to me in a timely manner with the answers to the questions I've had). Being busy is not an excuse for not getting answers correctly if ever. I asked to take out 12 months of extra warranty and they ignored the question, i also had a service question because again there was no information on if the car had a service, the car said it itself that it had one but no record. I asked the question via phone call but hadn't received an response until a week or so later and that was only because i called Polestar to ask them. Turns out it had had a service once i heard back from Waylands but no record of it in the service book, so i had to make my way to Waylands, (2 hour Trip there for me) to get this stamped (i did offer to do this though). It's been a lot of back and forth between Polestar and Waylands to finally get most things sorted but again this was supposed to be a straight forward purchase. Maybe it's because i wasn't purchasing a Volvo so i wasn't regarded as one of their customers.
I was pleased with Waylands Oxford and would recommend them because. The staff are very friendly and informative. Specifically our saleswoman Megan, very attentive and knowledgeable on the cars and products. Did her upmost for the best deal she could do and helped us find our perfect second car from her. Exceptionally friendly and approachable very very pleased to have purchased our second car from Megan.
The experience at Waylands Oxford was fantastic because Louise went above and beyond to help. She was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions posed. She was also incredibly patient and understanding throughout the whole process. Louise is a massive asset to the team!!
