I would recommend Waylands MG Newbury, especially if you can deal with the salesperson Ian. He was all that you hope for in a salesperson, he was knowledgeable and made you feel relaxed and respected. During the sale all questions and issues raised were addressed. He kept in touch and delivered on everything he said the garage would do at the time he said they would, before handover of the car.
My experience at Waylands MG Newbury could have been better because, we was constantly being bombarded with online literature which we found extremely awkward to fill out, not everyone is paperless, upload and download is not part of our normal life. Overall we found it very stressful
I would not recommend Waylands MG Newbury because the vehicle has a defect. I tried speaking to the salesperson and called several times. He never calls back. I have now had to resolve the defect myself and will be without a car for 3 days and have to wait till May to get the repair work done. You are aware of the fault and it seems you do not care you sold a car with a defect which clearly you should have been aware of l.
Generally satisfied with the professional service at Waylands however lack of knowledge of the IM6 was evident. I explained I will need to turn off the internal sensors at times. The sales staff said they will find out how this is achieved, so I completed the purchase. Afterwards told it can’t be done but will be upgraded during the year. Result- the vechicle doesn’t provide the facilities required. “Very disappointed”
After l picked the car up after it had been checked by the garage the front tyre was on the limit and all the tyre pressures were high and not the correct pressure and l was not expecting having to pay for a new tyre after sending out good money for the car aptfrom that very happy with the car
