I'd recommend Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate to anyone because right from my first contact, subsequent test drive and through to collecting the car, I have been looked after very well. Monica was very helpful and courteous throughout. My calls were always answered promptly. When Monica wasn't available, another member of staff attended to my needs promptly too. All in all, a great buying experience. Well done!
My experience at Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate could have been better because first of all the finance was wrong on the documentation and we had to wait an hour for them to get this sorted after we’d had a long drive there! When we picked up the vehicle after a week the brakes were making a very loud whistling noise and the back door wouldn’t shut as the latch broke. I called the dealership they very kindly took it back so I drove there and they inspected it and told me the breaks were new so it’s perfectly normal for them to squeak! And the latch needs replacing so I had to take it back the following day as there was no courtesy car for me! So I drove back the next day was given a courtesy car whilst it was meant to be done, the phone lines were down so I heard nothing and then I went back 4 and a half hours later, it wasn’t done so I went home after waiting around all day and promised it would be done! I agreed with the employee I would be going back the next day in the late afternoon and I turned up and I was told there had been a mix up and they didn’t know I was even coming in today due to poor communication from the service and the sales team! I then told them I’m not driving all the way back again and we’re going on holiday next week so I took the car away and I was given the part so I’ve found a garage local to me to fix it. What a stressful time I’ve had with this dealership!
My experience at Vertu Volkswagen Harrogate was memorable because the car deal was very good, the service and tyre packages were very competitive, the quality of the cars available was excellent and Jess and Sam were great in assisting us and following through to our purchase
