Late last year, I had a rare problem with my Mini Cooper D 2018 which was causing major issues and proving to be dangerous too. York did some investigation on this intermittent fault and had my car for 3-4 weeks whilst I thankfully had a courtesy car. They couldn't suggest anything and in the end, I honestly feel that they just wanted me to go away! There was no collaboration with BMW, no real ideas of what this problem might be and no incentive to get it sorted for me. I even involved Mini HQ, and received no help just a tick box exercise - this doesn't work in real life sometimes! I was even contemplating selling my beloved Mini ☹ It was frustrating and perplexing, I feel they washed their hands. Then my local garage recommended The Mini Repair Shop in Lincoln, an hour and fifteen minutes drive for me! What a difference, these guys are awesome. Happy to say that they did everything I expected Mini to do and then some and sorted my issue, they were fully engaged and interested in my car, in me as a client. Quite the contrast to Mini.

Vertu MINI York were really helpful and I'd recommend them because Carl Baker as always was very friendly, professional and helpful in helping me acquire the Mini I wanted. I have used Carl on 4 occasions and his service and expertise are faultless and I have recommended him to countless friends and will continue to do so.
Vertu MINI York were great because they made everything simple, there was however a problem once I’d taken delivery of the car but was sorted very quickly. If I were to have any gripes it would be the vehicle detailing wasn’t brilliant, I’ve spent 4hrs removing tar spots from the paintwork with was absolutely covered, also spend 4hrs cleaning and polishing the stainless steel exhaust tips.
