Tim the salesman, very good couldn't fault him, trying to get hold of used car sales absolute nightmare, no direct line in,had to go the main reception, who were helpful, but they never returned my calls, even when the reception staff went up to pass the message on, I appreciate that it was Easter but I would have been happy if anyone had called me back ,
Avoid. Bought a car for £21,600 with a Ford Protect Gold Warranty expecting reliability. Within months it developed serious electrical faults and became undriveable. Issues were reported in December but I faced a three-month wait just to be seen. The car got so bad it wouldn’t start at all, and I had to pay out of pocket just to get it to the garage. Now being told to pay £420 for battery and diagnostic work, and they’ve also found additional faults. Despite all this, they’ve offered just £14,700 to take the car back after only ~3,500 miles. Very poor service, long delays, and no accountability.
We chose to purchase a car from Trust Ford due to being a main dealer and give us some peace of mind so expected to pay a little extra but this was fine as wife's first car. Travelled 50 miles to look at the car and looked in fairly good condition for the year so bought it along with a warranty. Was assured this was fully checked over by the workshop, new MOT and valeted. Was told to get the car transferred closer would cost over £300 at my expense. 2 miles down the road the wheel sensor light came on ( Coincidence i think not). We get home and find the radio didn't work along with the air-conditioning and then a few days later that the spare key didn't work. Looks like the pre checks weren't done. Called sales and was told to book it in and they would sort it so agreed a date ( today) and made service aware I would have to wait due to leaving it not possible but was advised it should take too long. Arrived 8am and as of 2pm I am still waiting. 2:26pm just been told wheel nuts needed chiseling off, wheel sensors are just being replaced, air-conditioning needs rebooking and still waiting for someone to take key for cutting. Conclusion, if you are local take your chances but if you are travelling any inconvenient distance then seriously don't bother and save yourself the hassle!!
Chased TrustFord today for an update on my lease. The call handler kept repeating the same message and when I tried to get her to commit to a delivery date, was told that the order could be cancelled, which felt like a threat. She kept talking over me while accusing me of doing the same and then put the phone down on me without warning. Not what I was expecting. At the time of agreeing the lease I was told that the condition of offer was to take delivery be the end of April at the latest but as I wanted delivery by mid April I was more than happy with this. I only searched for ‘in stock’ cars because of this. Have chased for an ETA for delivery several times but the dates keep changing and no commitment being made to a delivery date. The combination of less than professional customer service and lack of delivery date commitment is not giving me confidence in TrustFord. Given the positive reviews this is very disappointing.
Six star service from Mark Brogan with our son’s fiesta. Mark found us the perfect car which had even more options than we had asked for. We had it delivered with no hassle and it’s absolutely lovely. We would not hesitate to recommend him and would definitely deal with him again.
